new and stuff
Regular visitors to the front page of thesnakefarm.com should notice something different this year. That's right, the newest PE(aott) strip will appear here as well as on the main PE(aott) page. The old layout had three top-level tiers for showcases, orginally for PE(aott), Spade, and Kozy K. Since Kozy K ended, I've been using that central space for special items -- most recently the "november" journal I kept for the first half of that month. But as the thing I wanted to showcase there after November isn't complete (and probably won't be complete for another few months), that middle spot just annoyed me. So now the front page is revamped.
(I sort of like the 2 guys strip as a single panel.)
I've also updated the strip I created on my mother's new eMachine -- open-source tools are nice, but give me Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator any day of the week. The Nice's picturebox featured PE(aott) for the past week when the horrible version of the Dec 27th strip was up. That's some great timing, let me tell you what.

Strangely, the single panel gives it a mysterious air. I loaded up the front page to be confronted by the words "Have you ever played Cosmic Race?" and was intrigued. Then again, I was intrigued by the recipe for lime and chocolate milkshakes on a Swedish milk carton, so I may not be the best soundign board for such things.
