The town of Quackenbush is named after Pam Quackenbush, a friend of mine in college. She was in the Environmental Design curriculum with me, then changed majors to petroleum engineering. About a year later, I ran into her again. We became very good friends but then I started thinking with my penis and screwed up yet another friendship. Two years or so later, I ran into her again but didn't get a chance to apologize for being a jerk. It seemed like things were going very good for her. I haven't seen her since.
