Good god, have you ever read any of the stuff in White Dwarf? I get it just for more tips on how to paint miniatures and terrain (check eBay for "thesnakefarm" -- I might have some for sale).

Moriarty is dressed up as a Space Marine, one of the army types in Games Workshop's Warhammer 40k line. Anyway, White Dwarf is Games Workshop's magazine that is really a glossy catalog for their stuff.

Warhammer 40k is usually abbreviated as 40k, because that's how much you'll spend collecting your armies if you ever get hooked on the game.
