I've also been adding a bit of color to these few strips -- I like the accent colors for Ice Queen and Buzzkill.

The rest of The Last Chancers are named, but I didn't get to showcase them at all. Perhaps in another storyline (although a Gaming Guardians-like spinoff series featuring the Last Chancers would be pretty neat).

We don't actually see Diane and Her Monster in this series, so I'll mention them/her here. Diane's a woman that can project a powerful black force that she keeps imprisoned in her body. Diane is actually dead, she draws her life from this creature -- she can release the Monster from her body and control it, but if it's out for too long, Diane's body will really die and the Monster will be free and uncontrolled, which would be a very bad thing.

About Buzzkill -- my sensoring of curse words in the strip is a bit of a joke, just like Dex's ever-present "Alien!" arrow. However, when I first drew him, he was wearing the shirt you see here. Oh, that glowing thing behind him? It's an impenetrable two-dimensional field whose shape he can mentally control. Unfortunately the edges aren't stable, so he can't cut that explosive off his neck without slicing his head off. He's actually a pretty cool guy.
