commentary

A quick interruption here in the "Sticky" storyline.

Around this time, Apple Computers started a new advertising campaign. I guess it was supposed to feature average guys and gals working on incredibly complex Windows-based systems then switching over to the more easily accessible Macintosh operating platform. No, no matter how many times I rewrote the previous sentence, I couldn't make it sound positive. Basically, the whole campaign made it seem like Apple owners are idiots. This was their selling point: Are you stupid? Please buy a Mac.

The site apple.com/switch has (or had, depending on when you read this) several of the commercials available in Quicktime format. They're quite amusing (Ellen Feiss' and Janie Porche's are both incredibly annoying. Ellen doesn't save her work and Janie doesn't realize that several versions of Windows features plug and play technology). They're all basically pretty much what Shaunna is saying: idiots buy Macs.

Will Farrell and Yo-Yo Ma should be ashamed that they were in the ad campaign.

Fixed
So for the longest time, the website has been broken and it's always been at the back of my mind to fix it one day and lo! behold! the magic fix just took about twenty minutes to hunt down and correct. So, sorry about that.

Have fun flipping through the comic strip and marvelling at how rough my artwork was so very very long ago.
