In all these cross-overs, it seems that every major character in a currently run comic book seemed to attend. The last really big mega-event I remember that Marvel had included the Punisher, a wanted criminal. Yet none of the heroes started to dog-pile on him. I always thought that was strange.

I always wondered why the minor characters that don't appear in their own books never get invited to these things. Where's the Young Heroes from Young Heroes in Love? As far as I know, they weren't killed off when their book was cancelled. Presumably, Frostbite, Thunderhead, and the others are still dressing up in spandex and fighting crime. If we're plucking all the heroes from the timestream, why doesn't Jonah Hex or Toro show up?

Man, comic books just don't make any sense.
